American Express tickets for Tommy Hilfiger Show

American Express is selling tickets for cardmembers to see the Tommy Hilfiger & Cobra Starship Show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center. It’s taking place on February 16 (the last day of NYFW) at 6:30pm in the Theatre. Tickets are $95-$250, depending on where you want to sit, and ticket processing fees add another $10 to the total. The ticket includes a pre-show cocktail party as well as a $100 voucher that can be redeemed at the Tommy Hilfiger stores on Broadway or 5th Ave. by March 17. Each AmEx cardmember may purchase up to 4 tickets. You can purchase tickets here:

If you’re a Tommy Hilfiger (or Cobra Starship) fan, this could be fun, and if you get the $95 seats, it’s not a bad deal considering the gift certificate if you are planning to shop at the store anyway. I looked at the $95 level seats, and they’re mainly rows G and H, and most sections are still available. The only thing that I want to clarify is that this is not the Tommy Hilfiger Fall/Winter 2012 show. You will be viewing the collection that was shown at NYFW last September (Spring/Summer 2012). The pictures I took at that show are at the link below:

The Tommy Hilfiger Women’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection will be shown off location this season but during its usual day/time: Sunday, February 12th at 8pm. For some reason it’s not listed on the NYFW website (http://www.mbfashionweek.com/schedule). It will take place at the Park Avenue Armory at 643 Park Ave. between 66th and 67th St. The invitation (which you cannot purchase) looks like this:

The main point is that while the AmEx show may be a lot of fun, I don’t want anyone to buy a ticket and then be disappointed that it’s not the actual NYFW show.
